Optional alerts for a caregiver’s active handoff.

By entering your mobile number, checking the unchecked consent box on a private caregiver handoff, and selecting “Turn on alerts,” you agree to receive recurring automated RCS or SMS messages from Baby Brief about saved changes and new parent messages for that handoff. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.
What triggers an alert
- A parent saves a change to a Care Card included in the handoff.
- A parent saves a changed start time, end time, or handoff note.
- A parent sends and successfully stores a new handoff message.
Alerts identify Baby Brief, describe only the general update type, and link to the private handoff. They do not include child care details, schedule values, note contents, or chat text.
RCS-first delivery and SMS fallback
Baby Brief asks its messaging provider to use branded RCS when available and to fall back automatically to SMS when needed. The same consent and opt-out choices apply to both channels. RCS availability depends on the recipient’s carrier, device, connectivity, and messaging settings. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
STOP, START, and HELP
- STOP: disables all Baby Brief RCS and SMS alerts sent to that phone number.
- START: restores subscriptions that were disabled by STOP.
- HELP: requests messaging-program help. Additional support is available at support@getbabybrief.com.
A caregiver may also disable alerts for only the current handoff on the caregiver website. Free-form RCS or SMS replies are not added to handoff chat; use the secure link to view and reply.
Privacy and support
Phone numbers and opt-in records are used to operate this alert program and are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent records are not shared with any third parties, except service providers acting only as necessary to operate this program. How caregivers opt in
Caregivers opt in only through the private handoff web form. They are not enrolled when a parent shares a handoff or provides a phone number. Review the public opt-in workflow and consent form.
